Just for You

Sometimes a weight loss journey will stall. The scale will go up when it should go down and it’s hard to not be disappointed and feel as though it is too hard to go on. Maybe a thought like this pipes up: “This doesn’t work for me.” or “No matter how hard I try, I can’t do this.” or “I’m getting older and weight loss is more difficult.” It is human to feel defeated, and if you feel that way right now, I understand how you feel, I’ve felt that way too. It’s ok to feel down, just don’t give up.

Sometimes a weight loss journey will soar. Habits are clicking and it seems like everything is doable. Maybe a thought like this pops up: “I’m really doing this.” or “I feel so in control and it’s all going in the right direction. or “I feel my body changing.” It is human to feel confident, and if you feel that way right now, I understand how you feel. I’ve felt that way too. It’s great to feel motivated, just keep going.

This week’s focus… meal planning

I have dinners planned for the entire work week and I have to say, that feels pretty great. We had Chicken Taco Salad (5 SmartPoints) tonight.

Meal planning helps! Having a plan for dinner makes all the difference.

Maybe the weight loss journey is stalled, or maybe it’s soaring. I think the secret is, no matter how it’s going, keep yourself engaged. Think about how you can help yourself and make things better – for yourself.
