Day Fifteen…

Coming home after a long journey is like a warm embrace. There is no place like home. I had a good experience in Houston and met some important professional goals. I did my best to stay on plan, and I’m grateful that I don’t have to do a lot of traveling for work.

t was so tricky to find fresh food. The best fruit options I could find were apples, and bananas, and vegetables were baby carrots. I drank a lot of coffee and water. Strangely, Houston doesn’t sell seltzer water. Isn’t that weird?  I was mindful and ate what I needed to feel satisfied, and I found myself ordering turkey more than once.

People I had not seen since last year were blown away by my weight loss transformation:

The thing is I was really happy with my progress by this time last year. I think it’s really important to be happy wherever you are on the journey. I feel so fortunate to have so many many supportive friends who attend my Saturday morning workshop, and all the kindness and support people have wished me through social media.

I hope you are well on the journey. I hope you are happy with your progress. I hope you are thinking about something you are thankful for as well.
